Weller Centennial Frankfort

I know some on here likely have bunkers of this stuff. Is it worth splurging on a bottle via trade? Seems like some think you can get a similar experience with current day OWA or W12. Thoughts appreciated.

One of? I actually think the idea of a favorite whiskey ever as kinda of silly, maybe favorite for the day. What’s something you like more than Centennial?

My favorite bourbon isn't the topic here and you know it. Or at least you should. Nuff Ced.

To elaborate further, I’m not really a collector. I buy a lot of bourbon but it all gets opened and enjoyed. My interest lies in sampling it given all the praise it has received and the fact that it’s unlikely I’ll receive another opportunity to come across it. I read through the BOTM thread where it was covered in detail. That said, collectability aside, is the flavor profile unique enough or better than what I would get from other BT wheated offerings like OWA, W12, or even Lot B?

Talk of trading is why Joe is trying to decide what to do with this thread. SB does not entertain any talk of trading or secondary purchasing due to legal reasons. In the future, don't mention that in a thread and you will be good.

Look for posts about the SB blend. It was invented to replicate Weller Centennial. It will give you a better indication than either OWA or W12 on their own.
