Hey guys...I'm new to this forum and had wanted to see if anyone had any info on some old bottles of bourbon I received from a family member.  I've been told that these are pretty valuable but didn't know where to go to find out their value.  I've got 2 full, unopened bottles of 750ml Old Wellers as well as an unopened pint.  Also found a couple pints, Old Settler and Kentucky River.  Neither have been opened but part of the Old Settler's cap is basically so old, it has started coming apart.  The tax stamp around the top is still solid though.  That bottle also has an old blue KY tax stamp that I've not seen.  I've attached pictures below of what I have...any info would be appreciated.

I am not going to comment on any "worth" of the bottles, but I would like to know how tasty the liquid inside is.

Ill second that. They are valuable if they taste great!

I'll give you a firm handshake for a pour from any of those bottles. This forum isn't going to be much help for you in putting a value on these bottles.

Usually on this forum it is frowned upon to ask about value of bottles.  It is more tilted towards finding and drinking bourbon and increasing our knowledge of bourbon.  If value is what you are mainly interested in there are probably other forums/sites to get that information.  Most responses are going to be tilted more towards "Open that bottle, have a taste and let us know what you think".  The responses may seem a bit curt but that's just the way this forum operates.  Anyway, welcome to the forum and by the way, "Open that bottle, have a taste and let us know what you think". :)

I'd be interested to know if the Weller bottles have a bottling date on them, as many of the old ones do.  Those old Camp Nelson bottles are very cool!

PLEASE... Tell us HOW THEY TASTE!!!!!      I'm fairly sure I'll never taste 'em so, I'd like to read your impressions of their character.

OK...thanks for the responses.  I guess I'm in the wrong place to try and see the value of these bottles.  I'll see if I can remove the post.  Didn't mean to ruffle any feathers.  I just searched the internet for a Bourbon forum and this is where it took me.  Sorry guys.

No need to apologize.  Would love to know what information you come up with on age, etc.  And if you do decide to open and enjoy, please come back and let us know.  When you searched this is probably the first bourbon forum you found, since it is the best bourbon forum.  Good luck in your search for information.
