Marvin
I have tears in my eyes as one of the legends has given up the ghost. This was a great bourbon man and friend to many. On his visit to Cincinnati he gave me a bottle of Booker's and signed it and I quote " To Marvin -From Booker Noe". He was a mountain of a man who believed in himself and the fellow man. I can't say enough about this man. We have lost one of the great master distillers of all times. And to me, it just tragic. I revered this man because of his beliefs - we had talked for hours on end about the bourbon industry - and one of my fondest memories was when he was talking about Jimmy Russel of which I will not get into at this time. My prayers are with his family and I thank God Almighty that he was sent to us. Marvin
Nightcap
I think bourbon drinkers everywhere lost a friend, Marvin; even those of us who never met him.
LeNell
Yeah, that about sums it up for me, too. Never met him but sure felt like I had been touched by him. I've been a little choked up. Put a nice memorial sign on the front door of the store with his picture.
