I dunno... If it came with pix of Shirley Jones from back in the day, I might grab a bottle.

Shirley Jones . . . eh, no, but if you're talking Susan Dey then I'm on board.;)

Well, she was a cute li'l gal, I admit; but rather young for an old dawg like me.

Susan was a lot closer to my age than Shirley.  Oedipus Complex if I would have had the hots for Shirley.

To be honest, I wouldn't know anything about that. I've actually only seen Cheap Trick once, and that was at the  (now defunct) "On The Waterfront" music festival here in Rockford a number of years ago.

From what I can surmise, I just missed seeing Rick at a local car show here last spring. He graciously had his vintage Thunderbird on display for a local "Classics And Chrome" car show here last spring. Pics below.

FWIW, my niece works with Robin Zander's daughter Holland (Holly). I too, just happen to know her from that aspect. Her daytime/regular job brings her to where I work. I've never bothered to say anything about the  fact that she's Robin's daughter. Whenever I see her, I always ask her if she's seen my niece lately, and if she's given her any s**t.  She's a great gal, and from what I hear, a pretty decent singer in her own right. ;)

And yet another story....    Last summer, we had a person in my company's management training program assigned to where I work for a couple of months. He's in his mid-20's. My supervisor at work is also in his mid 20's. I happened to be in the same area as they were when Holly came in to take care of things she was responsible for. She was pretty busy, so we exchanged pleasantries. I said hello, and told her to  give my niece a hard time the next time she saw her, then went on about my way. Later on I asked my supervisor and the management trainee if they knew who Holly was. All I got was a confused look. I then asked them if they knew who Cheap Trick was. Again, all I got was a confused look. Dohh! For gosh sakes, they were just enshrined in the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame! Even though I prefer jazz, I know of, and can appreciate Cheap Trick. Kids these days. Most of 'em just don't have a freakin' clue.

Red flag from me.  Reminds me of the Marx Bros. wine club they were pushing on TCM pre-Oscars.  All this kind of thing does is cheapen the "bourbon" brand and increase supply with only highly speculative demand.  I've seen too many markets for goods I love ruined by "collectible" entrants...I'm not about fuel of the fire.

I was on a crew that shot an interview with Rick in his basement a couple summers ago. He's a real nice guy - no rock star ego, very accomidating, talked about his grandkids, & he really loves Rockford. He showed me his guitar bunker, which is quite voluminous! Lotsa really cool pictures on the wall of him with all the whos-whos of the 70s.
