I hate Wednesdays. In fact I consider Wed the 11th, bad luck instead of Fri the 13th

But this particular Wed the 25th, was glorious.

I scooped up a Blanton's for myself & one of my customers, last Friday. He returned the scoop with this LS pick from a couple state lines away...

When I got home, my Wife told me that the Whiskey Bar was having a 4R takeover so we headed over. I promise these Glencairns had a pour before I thought about a picture. We each got a flight. Their PS won the 4R contest...

 

After, the flights, my Wife got a cocktail with a 4R Small Batch. I got a pour of my 1st Weller Antique. For me, the Weller won the night...

Heavy yardwork this AM (with my two amigos - over 200 years of life experience among us so "heavy" is relative.  Or the wrong adjective..  Or, wishful thinking.).

 

D'backs vs. Nats just started.

 

SO - I decided to relax with the dregs of a long-opened basic KC "9 years", thus freeing up some shelf space.  It sat a few minutes before I sipped.  HUGE sweet hit of mocha.  This was a good decision.
