Heading that way this weekend and looking for a liquor store that isnt a spring break discount liquor joint. Somewhere that will have some good bourbon.

Pavilion Discount Beverage.  Great selection and great prices.  By the bourbon section there is a list of stuff they have that isn't on the shelf.  If you need help, ask for Seymour.  He's the bourbon king down there.  Very good connections.

Yes, they do.  They have a few standard selections for good value.  EC, KC, Larceny, Woodford etc.  They had the KC 25th Anniversary last time I was in for $110, which a little better than the $125-130 MSRP.  The high end stuff varies.

I was just there, and yes, they sell liquor. Not the best selection of bourbon  (unlike the Costco in DC)I was underwhelmed. I did snag a 1.75l bottle of Kirkland Irish Cream, which was a steal for $14.99. I got some Kirkland Anejo tequila, for $19.99 and a 1.75l bottle of Absolut Citron, for $27.99.

I snagged a bottle of ECBF & Bulleit Barrel Strength along with a cheap bottle of 4R at Greens Beverage. It's on Kings highway http://www.greensbeverages.com. Everything was a little cheaper if you pay cash. They had a very good bourbon selection. The ECBP was not on display. I asked if they had any "in the back" and he brought one out.

Green's has a decent selection, but Pavilion is still better.  Green's is in the city of Myrtle Beach which has a higher tax rate than city of N Myrtle Beach, which is where Pavilion is located, so all though both will have good prices, again Pavilion better/cheaper.  I live in NC and drive down there ab every 2 weeks to hunt/buy.  I've been everywhere in that area at this point and Pavilion is the consistent winner.  Most notable recent pickup there...EC 18 and PHC 11.

Good to know!

I go to Greens, because it's a block away from the resort where we stay. I'll definitely check out Pavilion, next year. Thanks for sharing!

Absolutely!  Nothing against Greens and for sure go there if it's convenient.  During tourist season it'll take you half a day to get between the 2 haha.  Pavilion might even surprise you with an allocated bottle of some sort for retail.  In close proximity to Greens, you also have Beach Discount beverage which has a large selection...mostly good prices with exception to a few things.  Avoid Owen's...good selection of high end stuff, but you'll be lucky to afford gas for your car by the time you get out of there ha.

Thanks

We avoid Myrtle during the tourist season. We go in March, for our annual golf outing, so traffic isn't an issue, so a visit to Pavilion is in my future.

Thanks, again!
