Grandpa Jones (the frailing banjo player on Hee Haw) used to sing it.  Ray (Ahab the Arab) Stevens did, too.  Willie Nelson sang it, but I don't remember that version.

So many years wasted thinking OGD was rotgut.  Have polished off a 750 of both the BIB and 114, with a second 114 in the bunker. 

 

The OP has made an outstanding choice, and a fine reminder that I need to replenish my BIB supply.

 I too thought OGD, both the BIB and 80 proof versions was not terrible, but not great at first sips.  After a few days or a week, it and I both developed, so that it became good.  OGD114 was even better.  I keep the BIB and 114 bunkered.
