As we all know This stuff is harder and harder to come by. I am wondering what kind of prices folks are finding when they see it. My store always saves me a bottle when the allotment comes in. Today I paid $35.99 +tax for it

I got a 1.75 last October for roughly $45. But that was an absolute outlier and a product of being in the right place at the right time. I took one of these 1.75 of OWA to the register and the guy offered me a W12. I didn't even ask the price, I just accepted it. I might pay up to $40 for it, but there are others I like more above that. Plus I've been successful with finding OWA for cheaper, and I like it more.

Paid $23 + tax for a 750 a couple times last month here in DFW. A relative paid $36 + tax for a liter last week a couple hours outside of the metroplex.

Sorry I started posting before I noticed the big 12. I don't hunt for Weller 12, but haven't seen it priced on a shelf in years.

I haven't been shopping a lot lately, but stopped in one place for some Fever Tree a month ago and passed on it for $20 and then stopped in another store 2 weeks ago to ask if I could park in their lot for lunch next door and bought one for under $18. WSR and CEHTSmB are two I have never felt needed to be bunkered in the Atlanta area. Maybe that is changing?

I agree that WSR isn't one that needs to be bunkered, but the OP was talking about Weller 12 Year.

Lowest I've paid is $27.99.  Just missed it, but the 1.75 was $42.99.

To the OP, I would pay $35.99 any day.  Binny's is price was $34.99 last time I got a bottle from them.

$35.99 is an excellent price to pay for a 12 year bourbon in today's market. Especially the most sought after non LE on the market.

Got some W12 on Good Friday for $19.99 for 750 and $42.99 for 1.75. Before that it was $22.99/750 for 3 bottles back in October.

I think the retail price in my area last fall was $35-$40...although just like everywhere else, there were also stores selling it for much higher prices.

I would pay up to $50 for a 750 ml, since it’s just been so long since any has been available. The last 3 bottles I’ve seen were priced at $200 and that’s laughable at best. I do prefer OWA over it anyway, but I would still like another bottle.

Hadn't seen it retail in years - last bottles I bought in 2014 were $23 (and there was a dozen on the shelf that day).  $36 seems pretty reasonable to me, although price validity varies (some would say anything under $80 is a steal; others might have trouble paying $50 for it).

Those are $89 (when you can find them) here in Middle GA.  I would NEVER pay that much.

My question really is not state by state, or store by store pricing, but rather what is BT’s (manufacturers) suggested retail price. Is this published anywhere?

Since it doesn't exist around these parts it's like that old saying, if a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?  ????

I rarely see one in a store in my area, and when I do it's always north of $100.  Only time I have bought one of these was in Louisiana last year.  I was buying some Green label Weller, and the clerk behind the counter asked how much I liked Weller, and I said, quite a bit, and he pulled a 12 out from under the counter and charged me $60.  It was a one off, it's not a favorite of mine, wouldn't buy that one again.  I mean, I'd not turn down a glass of it if offered, but this isn't a threshold bottle for me.

I’m not sure about MSRP, but here in northern Illinois, I’d say that $35.99 is approximately retail price. If and when you can find it. I was lucky enough to get a 750  a while back for $31.99. I also bought a 1.75 for $49.99, but paid $79.99 for another.  I’ve also seen it at a few places that sell at inflated prices.  Prices varied from $60.00 to $99.99 for a 750.  I was more than a little pissed about the one store that had it for $99.99. They had it “in back” and it was being saved for family and friends of the store owner. Also, a penny shy of $100.00 just doesn’t cut it in my book. Hell, you’re gouging already, so just go ahead and call it what it is, a hundred freaking dollars!  <_< There are also a couple of other places that have Weller 12, but it’s only available as part of a package deal. One example would be a 750 of Weller 12 and a 750 of Templeton Rye for the amazingly low price of $120.00. :o  Oh Boy!

It varies by store, but in the last year, I have paid as low as $22.99 and as much as $29.99 for a 750 of W12.  Some local stores have embraced secondary pricing and have it for $99.  It just sits on the shelf at these stores for the most part and I don't give them any of my business.

I picked up a couple recently & paid around $35 each. I wouldnt pay over $40 because I have several & dont drink it much - I prefer an OWA SB any day. Ive seen on FB locally peeps are paying 90-100. Seems like too much to me but its almost impossible to find without knowing how, so to each his own.
