What is your all-time favourite pour at less than 100 proof? It can be discontinued, limited, or readily available on the shelf... anything goes.

I'll start it off:

Bourbon - PHC 7 POH

Rye - 2013 Saz 18

Don't drink much under 100 proof but had a pour of WSR last night and really enjoyed it.  Smooth and sweet with subtle spice.  Also have an open bottle of JB Black 8yr age stated that's really good.  Wish I could get more of that one.

That's easy - Old Forester Statesman.    The perfect mashbill at the perfect proof.

Blantons for me. It was always a bottle I would break open for special occasions. It used to be easy to find at $46.99, but now a little more and tougher to find. It’s worth it for me and the flavors just work perfect to my palate.   Creamy vanilla, caramel, baking spices and hints of orange. Still fresh on the brain from last night!

Age stated JB Black is the reason I fell in love with bourbon many years ago...

I only had 1 bottle so far. Bought it on Friday, and finished it off by Sunday night. That's some praise...  ?

VWFRR or the old tanked Saz 18 probably, on the bourbon side I'm not a buyer at today's prices but Old Pogue Master's Select has actually at times been pretty fantastic and for my tastes WT MK17 is up there. I've probably had a SAOS single barrel or a FR SB BS that would be in the conversation.

Good one, I totally forgot FRSB PS can be lower than 100 proof...

Blanton's (93) for newbies asking for a step up; I love sharing it and watching their eyes light up.  EW Straight (86) for basic cocktails for newbies NOT asking about bourbon; currently, my usual bourbon for cocktails is JB BIB, but the EWB works for large crowds and for persons not paying attention to the brand at hand.  Plus, I LIKE EWB.  Basic BT (90) whenever I am out and drinking+eating and then driving home - I have one good pour neat then switch to ginger ale.

Oooh this is tough. Coin toss between Blade & Bow 22, Orphan Barrel Lost Prophet, and Eagle Rare 17. So I'll need to find a 3-sided coin I guess.

I saw this OPMS reference and dug out an unopened bottle from the back and made a TSA friendly sample (along with its rye brethren)— enjoying it on the plane now. Thanks.

Smooth Ambler Old Scout 7 yr 99 proof.

As others have mentioned sometimes you’ll get a sub 100 Four Roses or MGP pick however always variance w/ single barrels so I’ll stick w/ saos 7 as it was consistently offered at 7/99.

Blanton’s or ER10.

Have not had enough to say definitively, but OF1910 was very enjoyable as well.

Currently drinking a bottle of Mitcher’s Toasted Bourbon at right around 90pf. Pretty tasty.
