So is anyone else lifting a glass to EHT and one of his (many) great contributions to bourbon?  Enjoying a little EHTsib bib right now, to be followed by some NRbib a little later.

Note to self - bring more New Riff bib back on the next Pilgrimage.

Cheers to that.  One of my faves, & IMO, the best bang-for-your-buck bourbon out there.

I know this makes it no longer bottled in bond but my new fave is a 50/50 blend of EW BiB and HMK BiB.  The MK is a bit dry and woody for my taste and the EW is a bit young.  So the MK adds complexity and the EW adds sweetness and caramel.  A case of the whole being more than the sum of the parts.

Well I unintentionally celebrated last night with a pour of CEHT Small Batch BIB.

I had a pour of Mellow Corn yesterday. Tried it for the first time this weekend. For $12 it will be a good mixer or it is and easy sipper on ice.

Try it in a Bloody Mary.

I've done this, and it makes a very nice BM.    If you want to experience the differences between such a BM and a more typical one, you must be careful about what spices and additives you include, though.   Not hard to overwhelm the nuances of the Mellow Corn with Worcestershire and pepper, or dill.

Hmmmm...I enjoy both of these (The McK10 is one of my favorites), but I am intrigued by this. Will definitely give it a go.
