Hello all, thanks in advance!

I am traveling to Louisville from OKC in a week! Third time there, second time as a whiskey lover.  Very excited as usual, as soon as I finish residency this will become a yearly thing and maybe I'm even able to hit the GN in late April within a couple years. We are hitting 14 distilleries in 5 days on this trip, so should be a blast.

One goal I have while I am here is to acquire some 4R PS recipes. If I bring home all 10 my wife might kill me, but I am hoping to grab 4-5 different recipes if there are good, solid picks available.

So, do any of you all know of a stores within the Bourbon Triangle (Bards/Lou/Lex) that currently have 4R PS?  It's a bonus if you know it's good, but I'm willing to take one for the team.

I am also interested in other store picks if you happen to know of a great non-4R pick currently available, I am all ears!

Thanks!!

So there's no 4R picks around Louisville or Lexington or Bardstown? I'll settle for recommendations on stores that *mqy* have picks. Thanks!

Total Wine in Louisville had a 4R pick last time I was there, about a month or so ago. Can't promise they still do, but it's worth a stop.

TW has their inventory online so you can check the website for the KY locations just choose those as your store

Their online inventory is not totally reliable.

Hell, even picks at the 4R gift shop are few and far between now.

A few years ago, 9/10 recipes were sitting on the shelf.

There is a section of Shelbyville rd in Louisville with a Kroger LS, a Liquor Barn and Evergreen Liquors within a stone throw of each other.  The LB is 13401 Shelbyville rd. the others you can Google or Yelp just up the street. You may find some in each or none, get some phone #s and give em a call ahead of time. Good luck!!

Thanks guys!

I know I'm late to the party on the 4R picks. Hopefully I'll fine 3-4 different recipes to try!

My problem is I want to try ALL store picks. I need a bigger wallet. I have worked a second job a lot lately to increase my purchase budget on this trip. Hope it was enough!
