Iron ghost
I’m a big Wild Turkey fan but have never tried any WT Rye. Planning on picking some up this week. Wondering what everyone’s favorite WT rye is and how you would rank them. •Wild Turkey 81 Rye •Wild Turkey 101 Rye •Russell’s Reserve 6 year Rye •Russell’s Reserve single barrel Rye •Wild Turkey Master’s Keep Cornerstone Rye (I think that’s all of them). 0895
I’d start with 101 to get a feel for it.
Shizzy
I've only had the 101 and the Cornerstone. I really like the 101 a lot. The Cornerstone is overpriced IMO, but is more subtle, delicate and complex than most rye. I prefer bolder rye than to that of the Cornerstone offering. I've heard great things about the RR, but if you don't want to waste money I'd follow 0895's advice or get to a local bar where you could get a few of them poured.
berto
The 101 is a nice basic pour. I really like the Russell's single barrel and will buy more. Haven't cracked my Cornerstone yet and from what I've heard from friends it's good but overpriced.
Postal Grunt
It's difficult to find the WTR101 in KC area liquor stores but the local distributor usually honors requests from our liquor stores. It's sold in the 1L bottle at $40 or so. If you can find, buy it and if you can't find it, ask the nearest LS if they'll order it. You'll be surprised at how good it is.
Obeezy1Kaneezy
Have yet to crack my Cornerstone, but for me... WT101 RR 6 year RR SB Never had the 81. I do find it interesting that I lean towards the lower proofers with WT Rye offerings. I can’t think of any others where that’s the case.
AndyD
My favorite for the price is the SiB rye. But cornerstone is the best. And I like all of the WT ryes for the record except for the 81.
EarthQuake
I really like Russell's single barrel. That said I haven't had standard Russell's in a while (and I think I used it mostly for cocktails when I last had a bottle), and I've never had the 80/101. I expect a Cornerstore to show up under the Christmas tree though, so I'll have to report back. I may need to get a 101 just to do a side by side by side. Anvil 20
I wish I could find the rye 101 in my area, but all I ever see is the 81.
Kane
I honestly don't love WT ryes enough to designate a favorite. WT101 is a nice basic pour, but it isn't pulling miracles out of the bottle like 101 the bourbon does.
BottledInBond
I drink more 101 rye than almost any other whiskey in general. That’s because I can drink it neat, but it’s also great in cocktails. And in my area I can find the liter bottles for $28-30 as long as I go to the right couple places. I like the Russell’s single barrel quite a bit as well. I usually skip the 81 and the 6 year. I haven’t tried the Cornerstone yet. I’ve heard fairly mixed reviews which makes it tough to want to cough up that much $.....

Iron ghost
I was able to try the Russell’s 6 year rye this weekend, I really liked it. It was surprisingly smooth and easy to drink for a rye, not nearly as spicy and punchy as I had imagined a WT rye to be. I had a glass of Willet 4 year rye about an hour before and much preferred the Russell’s. The woman I was with “doesn’t like rye” and she even liked it. This one is definitely going on my to-buy list. Thank you guys for all the feedback. I’ll be getting bottles of the RR 6 year and WT101 Rye to start things off.

If you haven't tried it yet, I'd skip the 81 proof. The 101 is really solid. Not having had the Russell's 6yr in a blind SBS with the 101, I can't say for certain - but it seemed I enjoyed the 101 more.
DeepCover
Is the RR SiB Rye believed to be a minimum 6 year rye also? I believe I’ve read online reviews stated as such, but I’m unsure of the accuracy.
jd1585
The single barrel is great for the price. Cornerstone is also great but very expensive.
