I have a couple of fun bourbon projects in the works and when they are ready, there are specific resting places that I would love for them.

The two main bottles I am searching for are Wild Turkey Master's Keep Revival and Blanton's SFTB (with or without the cork).

Thank you all for your assistance and consideration with this daunting task.

Awww, I just recycled a WTMK Revival a few months ago.

What are you doing with the bottles?

I have blends and experiments in the works right now that I'm looking to make full scale, one that mimics WTMK Revival and the other that is a $20 copycat of SFTB.

Why not just use any old bottle?

Update: I was able to trade for a SFTB Bottle. Now just need a Master's Keep Revival bottle.

I’m curious what these blends are going to be.

WTMK Revial a little sherry mixed with WT101, boom done.

No idea on the Blanton’s SFTB.

Yeah I'm curious about the Blanton's blend too. I think the Revival blend was posting in the vatting thread, which reminds me I need to try that! But I gotta get some sherry first.

The SFTB is Ancient Age that, through proprietary methods, I remove a large portion of the water from while keeping the alcohol and flavors pulled from the barrel during aging. I've done a blind taste test and it is stupidly close to SFTB. Ive also used this method with Benchmark and have gotten close to Stagg Jr.

I should know this but it’s been a while since my chemistry classes, how do you remove water? Do you freeze it? Can’t really distill it.

Not to go into too much detail, but dry ice is -109.4*F and liquid nitrogen is -320.44*F. -179*F is the freezing point of alcohol and 32*F is water.

No I understand this but you don’t lose any of the aging/wood impact from the alcohol? I’ve never done this, I guess you’re not left with a clear distilled alcohol as you would with traditional heated distillation?
