Alexander Murray at a crazy price!

Local C@stc@ had this deal. Bought a dozen to give and share with friends. Warm and silky on the mouth feel. Nice walnut on the the finish.

Crazy.  I think that bottle is close to $70 at TW.

My wife and I went there to pick out a bottle of whiskey for her boss. He’s new to the brown spirit and so far is a bourbon man. A bottle of Angel’s Envy for him. My wife walked down the aisle of the “regular” whiskeys and saw the Alexander Murray price reduction and immediately waved me over with an “OMG” look on her face. She asked me if it was any good and I told her I’ve never heard anything bad about their blends. We figured out who to give some to friends and a couple for me and we bought eight bottles.
When we got home I poured a bit into a Glencairn and gave it a try. Grabbed my keys and went out and bought four more.
Gotta love a wife that encourages you to buy more Scotch!
