I decided not to build myself another bourbon barrel because I keep selling it.  I found an old cypress 4x6, so I decided to make floating shelves instead.

Looks awesome.

 

Atthe same time I like my bottles close to the ground, my liquor shelf is knee height. Those photos still give me PTSD, you know what I'm talking about.
