TehRegion219
This many. I’m actually at capacity and have another WSR in the closet next to the cabinet. Pretty much every bottle is open except for a few in the back and everything in the bottom along with a couple douplicates on top (vob100 ) I’ve been trying to eliminate “clunkers” and only buy what I like (for the most part) and replace with same bourbon but I will on occasion get something new. Tucker
My bunker once had over 150 unopened bottles. It currently stands at around 50, having sold or gifted about 100 bottles a few years ago. I cringe (ok, cry) when I think about some of the bottles I let go of. Long story short...bad advice from a doctor. I've now found a new doctor. I'm drinking less lately so I only keep three or four open bottles at a time, typically a few bourbons and one really good Irish. Most of the bottles I'm keeping are GBS barrel selections, various FR LESmB, and BTAC. Edited August 28, 2020 by Tucker

We will definitely open one or two and share together at the next GBS St. Patrick's Day gathering!

Most of the bottles I'm keeping are GBS barrel selections, various FR LESmB, and BTAC. Glad you found a new doctor (and more importantly, that you're comfortable and feeling well whether drinking a little or a lot!) I'm at close to 200 bottles in total, with roughly 25% of those being unopened. Most of those are GBS picks as well, although I have some first release ECBPs, current ET BIBs (in case Saz screws the pooch on those), Bakers, and a few CB Flaming Hearts. With a LOT of open bottles, I'm trying to employ the same strategy in spirit and place a few bottles "out" so that when I'm in the mood for a pour - I try to reach for those. It brings some order to the chaos, although doesn't prevent me from reaching into the cabinet when the mood strikes. Right now on the "out" table I've got a Bakers, Old Fo Rye, Loch Lomond 12r, and WTRB. Had a Knappogue Castle 12yr pick out until that strategy worked and the bottle is no more

We talking bourbon? American whiskey? Whiskey in general? Distilled spirits in general? Everything but the kitchen sink? Should I count bottles I have paid for but are still en route? Seems like there are always a few bottles en route lately! I log them all as it helps me remember what's still en route
