I figured there's not nearly as much fun in listing things that would almost certainly be unanimous choices. So, I tried to keep things that aren't as easy to find for nearly everyone and/or bottles which would be likely to get all the votes off of the polls.

Several of these are in my everyday rotation, so there are many I would be happy with.  It would probably be the one that I’m out of at the time.  But, I won’t cop out, and so I’ll pick the Elijah Craig.

I voted for OGD114 but am just now realizing that OF BIB is probably meant to be the Old Forester 100. If that's the case I probably go for that as it's become a favorite.

The NC ABC Board has it listed as being BiB, so I figured they know something I don't... but maybe not?

I was wondering the same.  OF100.  ECsmB and FRSmB would be my other considerations.

FRSmB was definitely a consideration. EC not so much but only because I'm awash in private picks.

Only had to take a quick look at the list.  Saw OGD114 and said "Yep, that's the one."

Since there is no WT, I'm going OF Signature and probably 4R SmB or Bowman after that. Mentally doing this exercise in the past ER was my $30 and WT101 my $20 but I understand the point you made on an earlier post.

At this price point, it's hard to argue with Jim Beam Black.    A rock solid and classic pour

ECSmB for me, assuming my bar was empty and I only had $30 to spend. Adding BT to the list wouldn’t change my choice. ER would make it a tougher choice, but it’s usually over $30 these days, so it should be in the under $40 listing if anywhere.

after reading all the threads about the hypo store buys, this price point has the most spread out results. just shows how many good bottles are available in the under $30 price point.

Another, when I saw the OGD 114 I stopped reading and hit vote, from me.  I have all of these, other than the Bowman and JB Black in my regular rotation.  A lot of solid pours there but . . . OGD 114 for the win.
