Not_That_Fancy
I did a search and did not find this anywhere. what do y’all think of the new 101 label?
steven s
personally I love it
GaryT
If they don't charge me more for the fancy glass, I think it looks sharp (but hate when the 'packaging' gets an upgrade and a price-hike follows right behind). The textured turkey may help with the grip when pouring late into the evening too!
Rhettro
I’ve seen these 1.75’ers on the shelf with the new label and agree that it’s a winner. Very sharp and a sizable improvement over the previous iteration. Do we know if this new branding will also trickle down to the 750’s as well? And if so, do we know when we can expect those on shelves?

flahute
It's clean, subtle, and approaching being classy. It's better than some recent iterations. I'm guessing that most of us prefer the classic labels that had the Austin Nichols era turkey on it though.
beasled
I preferred the one before the current one but I dig this new one.
k-train
With that red top & relatively small label made to look like it was torn by hand, I feel like they didn't just give it a makeover, they gave it a Maker's-over.
mal00768
I'm sure the juice tastes terrible now. (I kid. I kid. Don't lose sight of what's important.) Edited January 28, 2021 by mal00768
dad-proof
It like the Naked Grouse bottle and the Maker's Mark bottle had a baby. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
JCwhammie
I like it more than the three they've had the last 4-5 years. Im with Steve that I prefer tge old Austin Nichols labels. I wish they'd put the handle back on.
Bourbon Boiler
I really like the textured bird in the glass, and I like the simplicity of the main label. I can't put my finger on why, but I don't care for the neck and cap as much. For the whole package, I'll give it a B+. It would be an A if they returned to contents of the bottle to ~2008 quality.
GrouchoM
As long as the quality of their bourbon doesn't go down and the price doesn't go up, they can bottle it in any clean bottle they want...
Kepler
IMO these new bottles look better in person than they do in photos. The contents are definitely better when experienced in person. Edited January 30, 2021 by Kepler
smokinjoe
I think they could have done better, considering the designer assets that are surely at their disposal. But, anything is better than what has been on the preceding label.

Jazzhead
I like it, it's certainly better than the current bottle. The current bottle is the least attractive WT101 bottle I can recall. I still like the one from the early eighties or so where the turkey is staring right back atcha. He looked more like a drinking buddy. The new one, at least in this size, reminds me of the Naked Grouse bottle, which has a similar glass-embossed fowl. mal00768
I’ll be the odd man out here. The old label is way better. This new label is tacky and doesn’t do the elegant turkey justice.

Paddy
It’s an improvement over the most recent iteration, but they just need to quit jerking around with it, and bring back the regal, painted bird!
Anvil 20
My first impulse was that it reminds me of Bulliet, like they're going for that frontier/wild west vibe.
fishnbowljoe
Maybe we could get a campaign started. “Bring Back The Bird.” Biba! Joe

BDanner
Surprising to see a change this soon after the hoopla surrounding the last change with the more "realistic turkey", etc. I was not a fan of the last change and think this one is an upgrade. Now...bring back the fantail Kentucky Spirit bottle. I was also surprised to see a new Kenos Creek bottle shape. Flatter and taller with "dimples". I found it much easier to grip and pour than the old bottle. Still have that thin cork topper that was hard to grip but it's a little easier now that you can get a better grip on the bottle.
