I was not sure best place to put this - so just started new thread.

As I got out my semi-recently purchased CEHT out of the bunker I got a pic with an old empty Spring 1916 bottled Old Taylor.

One of those 'little things that make you smile' sort of thing.

Wife did not really get why it was cool - thought this group would  😉

I do not even recall where/when I picked up the old bottle - think it was long before I was even into bourbon...

That's incredibly cool.  I really like the similarities between the two, interesting that the smaller is an 8oz bottle.

It’s the perfect size for concealed carry.😉

I used to slip a half pint inside each of  my boots before I’d go into a football game.  One for me, and one to keep everyone around me in good spirits.😋

In looking - they seemed to use this same size when they went 'medicinal' for Prohibition as well.

Easier to prescribe I bet  😉

A pair from 1975. Terrible taint from the plastic top rendered the open one unlovable. Guess I need to open the other one, but I would think it shares the same fate.

Love those older bottles. I have a much newer  version. Still love the labeling though. National Distillers circa ‘88.
