Didn’t see any mention of this.  Was perusing one of my local Safeway grocery stores today, and noticed that the EW BIB white label now has a splash of green in it.  The new label comes in a shorter bottle than its predecessor.

Yep, I've been seeing those for a while.  Back in the tax strip over the label days, bonded had the green tax stamp.

I picked one of these up a month or so ago, and it’s a nice look.  Heavy paper, green spaces, and gold accents make for handsome dressing that belies it’s dirt cheap price.

I tend to think of rye when they add green to a label, or top. As long as they don’t jack up the price after a slight update to the packaging.....,

Good call on the green implying a rye.  I admit, I didn’t go there with this one for some reason, but now I can’t get rye out of my mind when looking at it now!  🤣

That is interesting!  I usually think rye with green - except for Evan Williams!!  I think because one of the first 'dusty' bottles I ever found was an EW BIB in a green label (and if I remember, @smokinjoe explained the cabin label was a special nod to a distributor or someone in Georgia).  Anywho - always thought they were cool bottles.  Hadn't picked up the new one, but I've always thought EW is one of the better value brands out there.

I was thinking the same. The only reason I didn't go there 100% is because I remember the green lettering on the old HH6BIB and of course the old green label on the HH6 90 proof.

Same....first thing that I think is "rye", when I see that label.

I'm ok with the new label.  But not a fan of the shorter bottle neck.  Doesn't look quite like Evan Williams without the long neck.
