B.B. Babington
IMO, this one earns its own thread. Though I like Beam okay, I'm not a big fan. And Beam products that excite me are sometimes something like Fred Noe taking Courvoisier and aging it further in Kentucky or Beam selling off 12 year Courvoisier same price as 3 year. I would have liked recent Basil 10 year rye if it were cask rather than anemic Basil 80. But this new 10 year bourbon flavor comes through just fine at 80. It delivers surprising complexity. Great on the aftertaste. VERY enjoyable. Though I paid extraordinarily high price for 10 year bourbon ($70), I grabbed 2 and might get another. I hope other customers give feedback to Beam guys. Aged Knob Creek getting accolades, now I'm ready for 12 year bookers.
