When they have nice round numbers like that I'm left thinking "so I'm guessing that Brent and the sales team have some nice unlabeled jugs to take home."

dean_martin
Do they still do the LE Single Barrel? I have 2 from 2013 which was my only real opportunity to pick up a bottle of any LESB. One is down to it's last pour which I need to kill. The other one lies in wait. I usually replace an empty with something different, but the 2013 is such fine stuff that my second bottle might have to go back into the rotation immediately. I want to say that 2014 was the last uninterrupted year of the annual single barrel LE, and 2014 was also great IMO. Although they did bring it back in 2016 for the "Eliott's Select" release. Not since then however, if I'm not wrong. Edited December 7, 2022 by Kepler

I had my first pour on an anniversary trip at a cafe/bar in Marfa, TX. It was the 2013. I found a couple bottles at regular stops a few weeks later. I'd probably be priced out if it was still a thing though.

I was a bit late to these fine bourbons to snag that one in the wild, but I have a European bottle of the 2013 that I acquired through a trade. The 2014 I was lucky enough to enjoy at a local bar several times and really liked that one a lot. I was never able to compare them directly in a SBS though. Four Roses should bring these back sometime.

I wish I had a spare bottle of it like I do with the 2014 release that I picked up at the Distillery way back when. Maybe if I ever open it up one of these days, I'll send you a sample to take a trip down memory lane.

They did it from 2007-2014 and then they did Elliott's Select in 2016 (they also did the Secretariat bottle in 2013 as a one off 100 proof offering). They haven't done any official LE Single Barrels since then, but they have done some periodic special older release single barrels at the gift shop.
jvd99
One thing I noticed when I picked mine up is FR still has no security measures on their LE's. Still just the tiny shrink wrap plastic which can purchased by any fraudster on Amazon. One of the many reasons I'd never buy anything so easily faked at an auction or anywhere else besides the LS.
