They probably do taste good.  It just makes me want to go to the original source, and buy some of the higher end stuff bottled under their own label.  Skip the middle man.  25% premium for The House - dang.  Isn't 10% the norm.

It all reminds me of a story I saw on tv.  There's a restaurant in Las Vegas that served a $500 hamburger.

Not only are they sourced but these go back to the early days of WFE before the boom really started.

Found out who put them up for auction - turns out he attended a lot of our L&K tastings in the past (but we haven't seen him for a while).  He still has several cases (?!?) and paid about $150 ea. for them.  So the story goes . . . . . . . .

We had a member here once upon a time that I believe had some kind of connection with Willett. I met him once or twice at our get togethers in Bardstown. IIRC, he purveyed private picks for stores mainly in the northeast (?). For some reason, I also seem to recall he may have had something to do with Jack Rose. I have CRS ya’ know, so this might be sketchy. Some of you longer tenured members feel free to jump in and throw me a life preserver.   🛟
