Willett Distillery Question?

I know times have changed.  It used to be you could stop by the distillery at random times early in the morning and catch some Family Estate being released.  Does that still happen?

Not really. You can get 4yr rye but don't expect anything else.

As Flahute said, those days are long gone.  I live reasonably close and 10 years ago it was easy to drive over to Willett and buy 20 yr+ WFE bourbon or rye.  Not any more.  I bought my share, and wish I had bought more.  I believe Willett still has some of those special barrels stowed somewhere but I am not privy to access them, unfortunately.
