Need help with value

Hello! New to this site. Recently got my hands on a few bourbons. Is this a platform where anyone can give me an idea of what they are worth and if we can talk about them?

Wellll, what are they?   How do the taste?   What did you give for each?

I didnt try them yet! One is A.H. HIRSCH 1974 16 YEAR STRAIGHT BOURBON WHISKEY - BLUE WAX. Unopened. The other is a Macallan 18, 1980 also unopened.

I should add - we can talk about them! But not price evaluation and especially the buying or selling of them outside of legal auction houses. Person to person b/s/t is illegal. Doesn't mean some of us don't do it, but we can't talk about it on these pages.

You could ask some of the auction houses that have a license to sell wine and spirits.

 

As far as this site - we're about opening bottles and good times.

Welcome to SB.  Bonham’s/Skinner’s Auction House shows that one Hirsch sold this month for $7,500 and another last October for $6,000.

Yep, call or email Christie’s or one of the auction houses in NY that does whisky auctions, they will gladly provide a price range for auction. Very easy process
