Kepler
Wasn't this expected years ago? Kepler
Picked up a bottle this past week. The laser code starts with L22, which for BT products means it was bottled in 2022. I saw somewhere on the interwebs that the release was delayed for some reason but I forgot what the speculation was. Does anybody know the story for the delay? The strange thing is that I paid only a few bucks for for this BP bottle ($78) than I did for the last regular BiB 100 proof bottle I purchased (last year I think). Strange, but BT retail pricing almost never makes sense. I'm no BT fanboy, but I really dig the CEHT Rye. Supposedly no corn in the mashbill (all rye and barley) and it definitely shows in the taste. Very spicy ... so nice, especially for this time of the season. Like someone said in a review somewhere, this is definitely a rye lover's rye. I know some don't care for it, but I really dig it. Both the regular BiB and this BP. Edited December 20, 2024 by Kepler

I purchased a CEHT Single Barrel Barrel Proof a while back for $79.99. I just recently purchased a regular CEHT BIB for $47.99.

BT knows this, but they keep the msrp low. Which is fine I suppose. Retail stores are still urged to price products at msrp. But it's a free market, so I don't blame them for not giving money away for free. No easy answer
