PaulO
"Joshua Tree Sunrise" what kind of name is that for a Bourbon. What do Joshua Trees have to do with Bourbon. Those don't grow in KY. Founded by employees of Nike and Facebook. They did hire some experienced industry people (Jim Rutledge) to help. Whiskey from maybe four different sources, age it four years, blend, and bottle at barrel proof. $120 is probably a pass for me.
BottledInBond
“seems to be around four years old” and costs $120, and you might be lucky enough to find a bottle under $200 on the secondary market? What a bunch of BS preying on uninformed consumers. But we know how this goes. Person goes into a store and says they need a gift for someone. Store employee asks them a price range. The customer says around $100. None of the normal mid-shelf staples seem unique or interesting enough. Employee points out this crap as new and in the right price range. Bourbon drinker receives overpriced overhyped NDP crap they don’t want and feels obligated to say ‘thank you’.
