Is anyone else having issues with "Max total size" for posting files, (pics?) - I know...wrong thread...but it's driving me nuts

I know...it's the wrong forum....but I posted in the issues forum and haven't gotten a reply.   I suck at technology, but have noticed that the max file size was 8MB for my posts, but now it's 1.58 MB?    Same deal on PC and phone.

 

I'm old and afraid and technologically challenged.        

 

Help?

I only run into the "max total size" problem when I am posting selfies in the SB.com porn thread.   I am sorry.  I just couldn't resist.  I am still stuck in my sophomore year in high school.

I find it hard to believe that anything in your selfie exceeds 1.8mb!

I haven't experienced this error, but I almost always shrink my photos to be under 2 MB on my phone or PC before uploading to SB.  Not sure if it's still in place, but recently there was a limit on users about how much they could upload to SB.   It seems to be flexible and expands over time.  But I still try to have all my uploaded files to be under 2 MB.  Hope this helps, but I have no official idea.

Still having issue....1.58 MB size...not too technical,  but that seems like a pretty small file size

I am good now that I shrunk the photos to 1/5 of actual size.

it's getting worse.....files sizes allowance is growing smaller each time I post another pic...and that's after resizing them.......the shrinkage is commensurate with just getting out of the pool with cold water...

Well, I heard back from Jim. He broke his wrist a few days ago and is now in a cast. Doc says he should be able to use his hand again in a couple of days. Please hang on.

Hmm.  I just uploaded a photo and the file size limit was 8 mb.  I usually shrink them down to under 200 kb anyway and they seem to come out just fine.

Might I suggest HIMS. It will restore your file's happiness.  Of course, if your file swing the other way, you might consider HERS.
