I’m going through the same thing right now with a head cold. Haven’t had a pour in a few days. Water, orange juice, medicine; rinse, wash, repeat. I have an invite to go out tonight with friends. Maybe…….

I am starting to wonder if I may have a sinus infection at this point. I feel fine for the most part, just have the sinus stuff going on right now. Staying hydrated, vitamins, and also taking an expectorant to try and keep this from settling in the chest and turning into a cough.

Hmmm.     Netty pot loaded up with Bourbon?   Just sayin'.....   (Maybe stick with something 90-proof or under?)      DISCLAIMER: I'm not an actual Doctor; so this may not be the best advice.  HA!

I grabbed some 1792 bib after dinner.  I can’t remember my last pour of 1792 but my next one will be soon.

I went in as this was simply a gimmick when it was first released.  That thought was soon dismissed, and with each subsequent bottle purchased, I am more, and more, impressed with it.  It’s so very well done.

Beam single barrel fills my glass tonight.  This bottle is mellowing nicely with just a bit of air.  My initial impressions were "sweet and hot," but subsequent samplings are making me wonder if my palate was just off that night.  The peanut is really obvious, almost in the form of Reese's peanut butter cup.  I'm starting to dig this.

This being a single barrel product, I wonder about variation.  As always, more research is necessary.  The price is definitely not prohibitive to such endeavors.

Your post pretty much echoes my experience with the Beam SB.

I'm really digging it now and what's not to love with another cheap, flavorful screw top whiskey?

At a family baby shower at a brewery in Cbus. First time having Woodford Double Oak. I'm kind of digging it.

Prost!!  Phil

I'm making an effort to work on low-fills.

Was able to try all 3 of the Old Fitz special releases. The 13y was very good.

This HH21y is in the top 5 possibly, definitely the top 10 bourbons of all time for me. Extremely Good.

This Hirsch 25y Rye is amazingly good, like drinking oily candy.

What a great afternoon with friends.

Wow.

Awesome lineup!

I went to an all Hirsch tasting quite a few years ago and tasting that 25y rye is a moment that is forever burned into my brain.

MGP night.  Warmed up with Remus Repeal 2.

Now kicked it into high gear with some 10 year SAOS barrel proof single barrel from 2016.  This is some amazing liquid.

Had a post-snow-shoveling warmer upper from a fairly 'old' bottle of HMcK 10.  (The ostentatious green felt/copper medallion of yore.)    Not the very best of my old H-Mac's but quite representative and very enjoyable.   This bottle is getting down below half now.    I'm kinda torn between decanting it and just leaving it in this old, unique bottle.    I do like seeing the old-style-packaged bottle awaiting my attention.    I think I'll just leave it, and resolve to hit it more often, now that it's down on the 'regular rotation' shelf.

Having a nice pour from an older Blanton”s.  It was a beautiful day down here, lower 70’s and sunny, it felt like Spring.

How is that?

The reviews were so abnormally good that I actually bought one.

It's the only bookers in my bunker, as I'm typically not much of a fan of the brand.

Wheater  Wednesday on a Sunday night. 🤨  A pour of MM, followed by a pour of Weller SR.  Not sure just yet if there will be another pour. 🫣
