It’s my I know there’s more Winter still a comin’, but dang I know Spring is within reach beer. My daffodils are coming up, and some are blooming. This one is out of York, PA, from one of my favorite craft breweries (Liquid Hero). I had never seen it before, didn't even know there was such a thing. It's a tasty beer. Being on vacation this past week broke the seal and I had quite a few Asahi Drys so now I can continue the momentum. Currently drinking my second to last Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale. smokinjoe Posted April 12 Author Share Posted April 12 While the yearly Spring job of scalping the dormant Bermuda grass is one I dread each year, this time it was not as dirty, gritty and dreadful as most, because some recent rains got rid of a lot of the pollen, and made the thin grass clippings less fly away and nose and throat invasive. . So finished up and I’m no worse for wear, but definitely a beer is in order! Sweetwater Tropical High Hazy IPA is cutting through what crud did get through! The few stores that do carry it, want $50.00+ for a 4-pack, or $11.99 for individual bottles. While I don’t really join the hype train for it, I do find their beer to be excellent. The yearly release of their barrel aged coffee stout is something I look forward to each spring. The pineapple thing scares me, going in, but it’s very subtle, bordering on imperceptible. Perhaps, it just adds a little sweetness to balance out the tartness?
