What rye are you drinking or purchased 2025

Thank you. All of the ones you listed above are fairly easy to come by here.  It's interesting what is easy here is difficult elsewhere and vice versa

If you come across the 8 or 9 year bottles they are really something special. But pretty much everything they have is good.

Headed to the doctor’s office tomorrow. Turns out he loves rye. Which is not really sold much here in PR. So a care package helps the world go round.

My Sagamore vote, in order of my personal preference:

1.  9 Year

2.  8 Year (nearly as good as the 9, if you cannot find the 9)

3.  Store pick (most of these are 110 proof)  and I think the "Cask Strength" (non store picks) are probably just as good if you don't see a pick

4.  Sherry Finish

 

The Port finish is actually right up there at the top but it's a very limited annual release and almost impossible to find. 

Good luck and let us know what you end up with!

Sipping on an new on for me. JD BiB Rye. I like it. For me, I think Jack Daniel’s does rye better than Tennessee whiskey/bourbon. 
I say this one is a buy, especially if you find it $25 or lower.

I burned off some brush in the bonfire last night.  Unfortunately I have much more to do.  It really has piled up and without my boys around it has gotten ahead of me.

Anyway I took a bottle of Peerless Rye with me that was a store pick from 5 years ago.  It has a wonderful spearmint note in the mid palate.  A couple of neighbors saw the flames and smoke so it turned into an evening of hotdogs,  chips and s’mores with rye.  Happy FRyeday!
