jvd99
I'll kick off the new year with a good one... Purchased at Binny's 15% off sale + a gift card I got in my stocking + a $250 scratcher also from my stocking. Hardly cost me anything (packaging already discarded as is protocol in my house)

Kepler
My first empty scotch bottle of the year. (pssst ...won't be the last) Loved this Glendro 15. Already have another in stash.

Wedelstaedt
After a particularly challenging week, a pour is in order. Since we’ve had a cold rainy week, GlenAllachie 12yr is the one. Cheers

Kepler
Ok I decided to have another pour or two as a nightcap. Port Charlotte 10 yr.
Kepler
And finally, ... after the PC10, I just had to sneak some of the PC 18 year into my glass. I have come to really love this PC18 whisky in a very short time. It's moving up my list of favorites quickly.
Kepler
I sampled the Ardbeg Wee Beastie earlier today. I actually liked it quite a bit. I think I prefer it over the Ardbeg Ten.

Kepler
I bounced around tonight, trying a couple different bourbons (ECBP and WT101). Neither of them were hitting their usual spots with my palate. I probably hit the barrel proof rye too hard last night. I think I finally found the sweet spot for my palate tonight. Sherried scotch. I had a short dram of Glenallachie 15 and it was very nice. Now having some Bunnahabhain 12 and it's hitting the mark too.
Wedelstaedt
With snow in the ground tonight and a serious cold front moving towards us in a few days, “Tale of Winter “ seemed appropriate. So, i opened it up tonight. So far so good. Stay warm friends. Cheers

Kepler
New pickup for me. I was looking for the Uigeadail but this was on sale for $76, just a few bucks more than the Uigeadail. I figured, why not. Wouldn't get another chance at this one for the price. First impression is at 57% abv, it's a beast. Intense but very interesting. Lots of intense peppery spice to go with the campfire smoke. I'm sure I'll be experimenting with some drops of water.

That's a great price, it's about $130 here in Michigan.
