Is normal after such a spell that "everything tastes hot"? Both bottles did. I know they were neck pours...but not really high proof. I'll let them sit for a few months as is often my habit. Was re-setting gut biome. Alcohol lamentably interferes with that. That table! Bourbon Joe did it again - that 1982 OWA/Stitzel-Weller. Never had anything like it. He did something similar 2 years ago. A 10y JW Dant from 60's. Never would have had something like that but for him. I helps understand what you guys mean by The Good Old Days. Everything there was great - I was really pleased to try the OF BB 13 with the mutant yeast - thanks to kcgumbohead! Given my lightweight tendencies, I'm sure I'm forgetting a lot.
