fishnbowljoe
Helluva long, but pretty good week. The current session of the special needs/autism bowling program I help with started Monday. Mid week it was more work in/on the yard. A whole bunch of edgers had to be moved. We picked up another 600 lbs of rocks and placed them in our front yard, and our neighbors side yard. Then it was Friday fish fry at the Legion. A couple of my bowlers help with the fish fry. As an added bonus, some of my bowlers from a group home came to the fish fry. (They aren’t bowling in the summer session.) I talked with them for quite a while. Watched them play darts. Then a few of them sang karaoke. Great night. I’m having a couple of pours of Blanton’s to celebrate.
Bourserker
Went for hike after work and had a nice cold beer when I got back (Spotted Cow). After that I cracked a RR10 I've had sitting around for a while. It's been a while since I've had this and now I'm scratching my head as to why I don't normally have one on the shelf... excellent stuff.

Thomm Posted yesterday at 02:50 AM Share Posted yesterday at 02:50 AM Knob Creek 12 never disappoints. And then, suddenly, it does. When the bottle is empty. Uh-oh!
Kepler Posted yesterday at 03:29 AM Share Posted yesterday at 03:29 AM Following @fishnbowljoe' lead with Blanton's as my first bourbon pour in the new summer thread. I'm in a bottle clearing mode, so my 2019 Blanton's (on the left) is on the chopping block. I've called this bottle a 'honey barrel' because this one has been about as good as any recent Blanton's is llikely going to be. Took the time to do a SBS with another open bottle (2018 on the right). The 2019 still beats it easily. I'm going to miss the 2019 bottle when it's gone because I just don't see myself purchasing any new ones at the current msrp.

But those days are gone. It's not worth current msrp, IMO.
Richnimrod
Working on a couple of space hogs. A family sized WSR from about 10-years ago or so, and an Old Forester Signature family size from about 9-years ago. Both are still near-half-full, and that's a good deal of Bourbon; but, I'll keep at 'em until victory is mine! AND, I must say it's a tasty battle to wage. HA!
