I looked at a store in West Hampton. Would have been crazy, but I did like the store a lot. One heck of a drive from out here though.

I left the country for the week to take my boys to some baseball games in California. Stopped at a Total Wine tonight. Nice to see a liquor store open on a Sunday where they’re closed in Texas. Nice to see EH Taylor, Eagle Rare, Heaven Hill Grain to Glass, all varieties right there for the taking. They also had the Woodford Reserve Baccarat edition there. That said, most prices were about $5-$10 more than what I see back in Texas. Oddly, they do not do sampling of hard liquor there. Evidently they are not permitted to do so. Wow.

 

I opened an airline bottle of the Old Emmer Double Oaked. Very nice. At $100 for a 750ml, it’s a bit expensive, but the juice is nice. Worth sampling if you can

Think I know that store, some good selections there, but pricey!!
