It looks like a Red-winged blackbird.....

Not sure it's an actual Red-winged Blackbird, since their colors are on the top of their shoulders, and this pic appears to show something "similar-but-not-identical" (no yellow rear-margin to the red/orange patch) but on the bottom of the wing.   The pic is so small though that it doesn't present a definitive ID.   Just my .$02, FWIW ...and it probably ain't worth much more than that.

I had a pour of WTKS today to celebrate my release from rehab hospital.  27 days in surgery/rehab is not fun.  One surgery down, two to go.
All went well.  Two weeks of outpatient rehab then back to Nashville for evaluation/scheduling of the lumbar portion.

Cheers!

It's good to hear from you.  I'm glad things seem to be moving along.  Maybe you can find some fun things to do in Nashville, or between there and home.  🥃✌️

Knob Creek 12 never disappoints.  And then, suddenly, it does.  When the bottle is empty.  Uh-oh!

I agree. It’s also fairly easy for me to find in my town, and at +/-$65 it’s well worth it to me.

A favorite, for me, also a Mike Andrews fan, mid-late 60s (BOSOX), and Dave Johnson (Orioles), same time-frame.

I’ll add a ditch parrot (aka pheasant), some quail and an occasional partridge to the party with my best springer spaniel at my side

Top it all off with a splash of Wild Turkey sauce after the hunt and you have a slice of heaven :}

Picked this one up a few weeks ago and while I’m not usually a fan of bourbons, I am enjoying this one!

Very nice, dark cherries, cinnamon, vanilla, tabacco, and licorice. The heat disapate's pretty quickly, never really notice this before in any other bourbon, lol

Your bourbon recommendations are solid!

Typed too fast in post above and guess I didn't notice when posting, but my post should have read "I'm not usually a fan of FINISHED bourbons."   Bourbon and Scotch are my favorite spirits, but will also enjoy a rye or an Irish Whiskey on occasion.

I just ordered one which will hopefully arrive on Friday. I am looking forward to this one. Now if I could find the port finished variety for a good price, that would be great but I don’t think that’s likely
