Bourbaki_Bourbon
Analysis of James Bond's consumption of alcoholic beverages by movie and by novel. Pretty funny.http://home.earthlink.net/~atomic_rom/007/intro.htmBourbon is overall one of his standbys, but he rarely sips it in the movies. He does give it a favorable mention in the movie "Goldfinger" though.
Vision
I don't know if this is covered somewhere in your link, but the history of 007's martini is interesting. If I remember correctly...Stoli was looking to promote itself and vodka in general in American culture. So they paid big time to be Bond's drink of choice, shaken not stirred it's signature. It's one big commerical!
Bourbaki_Bourbon
It's noted there that Bond alternates between Smirnoff and Stolichnaya in the movies for his vodka. Lately, he has conspiciously switched to Finlandia. I always thought Dom Perignon was *the* most high profile product placement in the films, as Bond quite often refers to it by name, especially the '53 vintage. Vision
Do you like Dom? It's was to dry and tart for my low class taste.
