boone
I read where Randy went to BT and bought a entire barrel to be bottled just for him I wanted to let people know that we offer that same deal too Ohhhhhhhhhh Yeahhhhhhhhhh We have (for quite sometime) let people pick their barrels...I recall, seeing some of the EWSB Single Barrels personalized...and they get the barrel ta boot! This was in our company newsletter. I don't have time to scan all of it right now but I promise to do it later. Note the proof on those bottlings..."They" (not HH) bottled it at that proof. I will let a little "inside info" turn loose We are in the process of developing a few new "Brands" (high proof) from Heaven Hill One of those new brands is going to be WHEAT. It's 5 years old right now. I had the opportunity to taste this "new product" that Parker and Craig" have been working on... EXCELLENT Well...there ya have it ... doubleblank
High proof from HH......Bring em on! Timing? Looking forward to tasting them.Randy
Gillman
Bettye Jo, excellent news all round. I believe if there was enough to bottle, a 8-10 year old rye whiskey from HH would be a winner, high proof or not. The other extreme from a wheater but I think many people would go for it!Gary
boone
We have a 10 year rye...It was a special order. We tasted it during the tour that I gave to Greg and Bobby...Just wonderful. I don't claim to be a "bourbon critic" but it was excellent by my standards A little clarification...My post reads as if the WHEAT will be high proof...The wheat will not but the other "New Brands" will be cask strength Sorry for the lack of clarity in my previous post Bettye Jo
