LAWRENCEBURG, KY - November 23, 2004 - Bulleit Bourbon today announced the

launch of a new product Web site, www.bulleitbourbon.com. The site captures

the frontier flavor of Bulleit Bourbon, provides the history of the brand

and a product locator, offers recipes and even gives some personal comments

from Tom Bulleit.

Tom Bulleit is the great-great grandson of Augustus Bulleit, a Louisville

tavern keeper with a talent for distilling small batch bourbon in the 1830s.

More than a century after Augustus distilled the last batch of his bourbon,

Tom recreated the original aroma-rich Kentucky whiskey with hints of vanilla

and honey and a long, smoky finish.

Bulleit Bourbon, distilled in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, is Diageo's first

foray into the growing premium bourbon category. Today the brand is

available in 30 states and will be sold nationwide by winter 2005;

international distribution includes Australia, England and Germany.

The Publican says Diageo will invest 2 million British pounds in a marketing relaunch of Bulleit starting in March. The effort is aimed at bars and clubs, with additional support at outlet level.

The roll-out will be supported by point of sale displays, posters, barstaff T-shirts and back bar units.
