Whiskey Magazine names Van Winkle the best

Julian Van Winkle Family Reserve 15 Years Old was just named "Best American Whiskey 2005" by Whisky Magazine during the Icons of Whisky celebration. Four Roses Single Barrel came in second and won a gold medal and Eagle Rare 17 year old came in 3rd and received a silver medal.

The distillery proclaimed as being the best in the world is the Buffalo Trace Distillery.
