Whiskies of the World Expo @ Binny's

Binny's in Chicago is having a Whiskies of the World Expo

at the Binny's Ivanhoe Castle location (773-935-9400) on Tuesday April 12th at 5-8pm. Cost is $20 (this is a tasting too) with all proceeds going to a local charity.

Over 25 Master Distillers and Ambassadors are expected to attend, like:

Fred Noe (Jim Beam), Jimmy Russell (Wild Turkey), Julian Van Winkle (Old Rip Van Winkle), Jimmy Bedford (Jack Daniels), Craig Beam (Heaven Hill), Greg Davis (Barton), David Pickerell (Makers Mark), plus many more including the ambassador from Suntory (Japan) and many Scotch whisky companies.

Just thought I'd share this, I just got an email for a sale @ Binny's.

I got notice of this, too, and would love to attend. It looks like a great event! If I still lived in Detroit, I'd drive down for it.

Fortunately, however, I do not still live in Detroit.
