boone Posted April 7, 2005 Share Posted April 7, 2005 I report with a sad heart that we have lost Sam Cecil.The visitation will be at the Barlow Funeral Home, 2675 John Rowan Blvd, in Bardstown. COPPERSTILL Posted April 9, 2005 Share Posted April 9, 2005 I was lucky enough to hear his acceptance speech into the hall of fame, it truly was touching. He made a joke about how it was much better than receiving a posthumous award. He then noted that he had no experience receiving posthumous awards. I hope this comes off with all respect intended.
