I have no recollection of what it was called, but it was in a very tall, slim, clear bottle and the liquor was as clear as water. The aroma was of freshly cut, juicy pears. My friend is a gourmet in most things, so I knew I was in for a real treat. NOT! It was so dry and astringent I couldn't make any connection between the flavor and the juicy pear aroma.
