Well folks, what's the story on the release of an 18+ year old JR? Anybody know? smiley_acbt.gif I know the 12-17 year old replaced the 15, but I got a sense that an older one was was being contemplated.

Was this project abandoned due to the lack of old juice?

Well, Joe -- let me make some hypotheses based on our collective lack of information. The folks -- individually and severally -- who inhabit these threads are pretty well plugged in to the bourbon world. Thus, if nobody knows anything, barring further input, I'd assume there is nothing to be known. So, to further that line of reasoning, I'd guess there's no longer an extra-aged Jefferson's Reserve in the pipeline.
