cicero
I've got a few friends in NYC that love good KY straight bourbon whiskey. Seeing as they live in Manhattan, bourbon aint cheap. I'd love to send them a great bourbon they cant find anywhere in NYC, but seeing as its one of the largest cities in the US, thats hard to do. bookers is out of the question, and so is jeffersons...any suggestions? LeNell
I've got about everything you can get here at my shop in Brooklyn, but the ones we definitely can't get here in NYC that are well worth checking out in Kentucky are Four Roses Single Barrel and Very Old Barton 100 proof. TNbourbon
Do you get Ancient Ancient Age 10-year-old (not 10 Star), LeNell? I know it's only marketed in KY and VA, but that doesn't mean a stray bottle might no end up elsewhere . If not, worth getting in KY.
musher
They must market the AAA 10yo in IL too, since I've gotten it from both Randall's and Binny's. Unless they have a special distribution deal with the larger internet retailers.
chasking
AAA 10yo is available at Binny's now, but that is a pretty recent development; it wasn't there a few months ago.

Unless they have a special distribution deal with the larger internet retailers. Note I said "market", not "sell" -- Randall's and Binny's (and probably a few others) buy in large enough quantity that they can get whatever (generally) they want. But it's only available for general distribution to any retailer in KY and VA.
musher
Not really all that recent, since I got my small supply from them back in January. It probably comes and goes as it goes in and out of stock.
Ken Weber
Binny's (Brett) and Randle's (George) asked for a special shipment and AAA 10 year and we gave it to them since we are cutting back on distribution, owing to a lack of juice. When an out of state customer calls, I can refer them to these guys and they will generally ship anywhere. In a short time AAA 10 year will only be available market-wide in Kentucky.Ken
