Bourbon and Cigars

I never enjoy the taste of cigar smoke in my mouth before my first taste of bourbon for a night, but by the time my second pour rolls around I really enjoy a fine Dominican cigar in between sips.

Of course, there are some limitations, because I always think that the smoke can distort the taste buds a bit and take away some of the sweeter caramel and vanilla flavors in some brands.

Anyone else enjoy smoking alongside bourbon?
