BourbonJoe
Well, the Philly Whiskey Fest 2005 is now history. Fred (Mobourbon), Doug (Fricky) and I had a great time. We got to spend some time with Fred Noe and Jimmy Russell - both great guys. Got to taste the entire Buffalo Trace Antique Collection as poured by Chris Comstock (including the William Larue Weller). Y'all are in for a real treat. Some of it has already hit the shelves in Pennsylvania. Joe

mobourbon
Joe, thank you for posting the picture! We had a great time and tasted great bourbons. The William Larue Weller and the fall Stagg are fantastic. The '05 Old Forrester Birthday bourbon is also very good.It was great talking with Jimmy Russel and Fred Noe, and hearing their personal stories about Booker Noe and Elmer T. Lee. Jimmy and Fred are truely class acts! It was great talking with Chris Comstock also. It was a great event!
hookfinger
I've managed to pick up a couple GTS' and Old Forester Birthday bottles, but we're still waiting for the Weller over here in Harrisburg. Thanks for the heads up, guys.
