ProofPositive
Last night I spotted 3 bottles of this VW that I had not seen before at a local store. It has a white square label and designates "Lot B", "Reserve" and is 12 yrs old. Is this a newer BT bottling or from an older S-W batch? At $36.99 it seemed a pretty good deal for VW. Maybe I should go back and grab the other 2 while I have the time & money if this is one not to be found anymore. Also, how does one determine if it is a previous S-T bottling as opposed to the newer BT distillations? Maybe just the bottle itself (as with OPVW) - or is there an alphanumeric code on the bottles somewhere?
RedVette
I can'tanswer the source part of your question, but I can tell you that "lot B" is not particularily rare. I have seen it in many shops, so you probably do not need to stock up on it, let the retailers hold it for you instead.Oh yeah, one other thing, it is a very tasty drink.
