Check out this new beer.

Aged in charred oak barrels Before spirits.

Seems they conditioned the barrels with beer before making &^%&* and threw the beer away.

Seeing perfectly good beer go down the drain got a few guys thinking and Voila.

I was in Sweden in October, settled into a pub, and the bartender brought a few of these out for us to sample. They were very good. Of course after that I felt obliged to buy some of the scotch (oops...) that had been aged in these casks (Grants ale cask) at it was also very nice. Highly recommended if you can find either.
