jeff
I can't get ahold of the camera long enough to see what it is. What's being bottled?
pepcycle
Still trying to zoom in. Looks like we're all fighting for control. I relinquish control to Jeff.
pepcycle
They're bottling this whiskey right now. Looks like originally barreled in 1993 and rebarreled in 2001. Special Label. Trying to get over to it now. Will this be available soon?

etohchem
This is the first barrel today. There are going to be 3 total different barrels. I must wait for the press release until I can give any more information. Etohchem

doubleblank
Now they are doing a "Fire Pot Barrel Aged" experimental bourbon. Barrel heated for 23 mins to dry the wood......with a #4 char. 10 years old.....90 proof. BT Mash Bill #1.Randy
pepcycle
The next barrel is in the rack to be dumped. Its the rebarreled one. Randy is right. The one they're bottling is Fire Pot Barrel Aged. I can't make out the third barrel. I guess we can assume that these are in addition to the French Oak Barrel aged product, whose label we saw approved on the TTB web site. I'm tempted to punch out early and head over for a quick visit. This is very cool. Bourbon History in the making. In a previoius thread, there was a reference to $400-500/bottle. Please tell me that ain't so. I'd hate to have to look at this bottle through the window and not be able to afford it.
Rancastle
Since they are allowing us to see this, I wonder what in hell is going on when they throw a towel over the camara so we can't see. I've asked Ken Weber a couple times and never gotten an answer.
